Growth Groups
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Know Together, Grow Together, Go Together
We believe that everyone should be in a Growth Group! The reason we believe this is one simple word, “together”.
Looking at our world, we see scores of people who are insulated and isolated from each other. Whether this is a result of the increasing use of social media or just unfortunate life circumstances, “isolation” and “division" are rampant in our nation! We seek to be a church who spends time “together”. Our Growth Groups are an open group, meaning all are welcome. Come and invite friends and neighbors to join you in growing together in Christ.
Our 2025 Winter in-home Growth Groups will begin in January.
Sundays in Monroe
Mondays in Monroe
Wednesdays in Indian Trail
Addresses are private, so please send us a message for directions to the group you're interested in attending!
This leads us to have:
Conversation Around the Word of God
Our growth groups help us get to know the Christ of the word. We believe in creating spaces where we can have open dialogue about what the Word of God teaches. "Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) We believe that the only way this faith will be awakened is through the Holy Spirit. He will reveal to us what the Bible teaches.
Community with One Another
Our Growth Groups help us grow in Christ and with one another. We believe that true community comes from being unified. This unity only happens through our unity in Christ. We are not designed to walk through life alone, therefore we seek to do life together in community with one another.
Commitment to the Mission
Our Growth Groups help us to hold each other accountable to “go tell” the world about Christ. We believe that growth in Christ is not just about information, but about transformation. That means we seek to be used by God to communicate the message about Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. In our everyday rhythms of life we seek to live missionary lives in order to fulfill the mission of God.
