Quintell Hill

Lead Pastor (Elder)

Quintell accepted Christ at the age of 15 and answered the call into ministry when he was 17. His educational and ministry experiences, as well as the Holy Spirit, have led him to plant Multiply Community Church. He is a graduate of the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Preaching from Anderson University in South Carolina.

He has a passion to see the church on earth reflect the church in heaven. Jesus prayed to the Father that they would all be one. (John 17:21) Quintell believes that the unity of the body gives gospel witness to a lost world. This unity comes as a result of our love for one another. (John 13:34-35) This love is motivated by Christ’s redemptive love.

John said, “And they sang a new song, saying, worthy are you to take the scroll and open its seal, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Revelation 5:9; 7:9-10).

Quintell’s desire is to lead Multiply Community Church to reflect the nations. God has blessed him with his wife of 18 years, Christie. They have two children, Moriah and Kharis, that God blessed them with through the gift of adoption.

Pastor Quintell’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing sports, and spending time with his family.

Henry Power

Associate Pastor to Students (Elder)

Henry accepted Christ at 14 and later accepted a call into ministry at 17. Shortly after he began teaching in the student ministry in his local church and discovered a passion for teaching teens the word of God. He later felt called to pursue more education in order to better serve the Lord and teach students and graduated from Judson College with a B.A. in Student Ministry in 2025.

Henry’s passion is to reach students who need to know God’s love and to help equip students that do know Christ in order to find and pursue their calling and to fulfill the Great Commission. It is his firm belief that teens are not the church of tomorrow, but in many cases they have the potential to be some of the most effective messengers of the gospel in the church. His desire is that his students do not use their age as an excuse to avoid kingdom work, but rather as a unique opportunity to reach the people around them in their lives and schools and to set an example for others in the spirit of 1 Tim. 4:12.

God has blessed Henry with an amazing wife, Abigail, and three wonderful (crazy) kids, Cassidy, Silas, and Jonah. His hobbies include spending time with his family, lifting weights, competing in strongman, and fixing and flipping appliances.

Carla Sowell

Children's Ministry Director

Carla is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, having accepted Him into her life during her middle school years— a decision that forever changed the course of her life. Raised in a home led by two missionary parents, she was blessed to grow up surrounded by faith, service, and a deep commitment to sharing God’s love with others.

She pursued her education at King's College in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she earned my Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration. Her time there not only equipped her professionally but also deepened her understanding of leadership and stewardship.

For the past 17 years, Carla has been joyfully married to her husband, Desmond Sowell. Together, they are the proud parents of three incredible children: Jaydyn, Jariyah, and Judah. They are their greatest blessings and daily reminders of God’s grace and goodness.

Carla's life is anchored in the truth of Scripture, especially the powerful promise found in 2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

This verse guides her heart in ministry, motherhood, and every step of her journey. She strives to live a life that reflects humility, prayer, and a passionate pursuit of God’s presence.
